This version, the Scarpa Ranger II Active GTX, features Scarpa’s new Activ Fit technology and a waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX lining, for luxurious comfort all day long.
The Ranger 2 now features Scarpa’s BD last, offering increased fit and performance, while the Hi-Flex midsole offers the optimum balance of support and walking comfort.
The new Activ Fit design combines four elements; last, sole, ergonomic design and footbed, giving you instant, out-of-the-box comfort and performance.
Ideally suited to hillwalking and rambling on paths, trails, fells and moorland.

Calf leather upper
The Vibram Kalden soleuses PU for great shock absorption, concealed and protected by the rubber outsole and integral rand, which eliminates the complexity of adding a separate rand which can so often be the cause of quality issues down the line. The cleating pattern features unique "propeller" cleats foroutstanding underfoot grip on all terrain.
Scarpa use high quality full grain calf leather on these boots, approximately 2.5mm thick, ideal for fell or lighter weight hillwalking boots, which require less bedding in.
